How to update text on a WordPress page

1 min read

Page builders differ, but the safe pattern is the same: edit the right page, preview, then publish.

Steps #

  1. From WordPress admin, open Pages and find the page by title.
  2. Open the editor or builder used for that page.
  3. Change only the text you intend to update.
  4. Preview the page on desktop and mobile widths if your editor supports it.
  5. Click Update or Publish. Saving a draft does not change the live page.
  6. View the public URL and confirm the change.

Expected result #

The published page shows the new text on the live website.

If the problem continues #

  • You may be editing a template, reusable block, or a different page with a similar title.
  • If the live page stays old, follow the cache checks article before asking FoxDev to clear server cache.
