Before you begin #
- Use the admin URL FoxDev provided for your site.
- Prefer a password manager over remembering passwords.
Steps #
- Open the correct /wp-admin/ or /wp-login.php address for your website.
- Confirm the browser address bar shows your real domain before typing credentials.
- Sign in with your own user account, not a shared generic administrator login.
- Save the login in your password manager.
- Sign out on shared or public computers.
Expected result #
You reach the WordPress dashboard from a trusted login page using your personal account.
If the problem continues #
- Stop after repeated lockouts and contact FoxDev. Security tools may be blocking the attempts.
- Do not click login links from unexpected emails.
